ARC Licensed-AU066885

South East Melbourne & Gippsland

Officer has grown quickly, and its newer estates are full of late-model cars whose factory air conditioning is built to hold up through a hot Cardinia run. When the aircon stops blowing cold in one of them, Naztech comes to the car rather than asking you to come to us. We are ARC-licensed to recover and refill refrigerant on site, so a regas is done properly in your own driveway, with a leak check built in so you are not paying to put gas into a system that is already losing it. Officer also sits a short hop from our Pakenham base, which keeps the wait short. Call 0449 992 695 or send an online enquiry, and we will find a time that suits.

Cold Air Back Without Leaving Your Officer Driveway

In a newer suburb like Officer, the car that needs cooling is usually the one you rely on the next morning. Booking it into a workshop means losing it for a day and arranging a lift both ways. We work the other way around: the van brings the full mobile car air conditioning kit to your driveway, the office car park, or wherever the car is sitting, and it never leaves your sight. You deal face to face with the technician doing the work, not a front desk. A mobile car aircon regas suits most of what people here drive, from the family SUV and the daily commuter hatch to a caravan ahead of a trip or the work ute that runs between sites.

What’s Actually Making the Air Blow Warm

Warm air does not always mean the system is short of gas. A slow leak can let refrigerant escape faster than it should. The condenser at the front of the car can clog with road grime until it stops shedding heat. The compressor might not be pumping, or the blower behind the dash might simply be tired. Each of these leaves the car aircon not cold, and none is solved by topping up the car aircon gas. So we diagnose before touching the refrigerant: we run the system, read the high and low pressures, check the compressor clutch, and confirm the airflow. If the charge is genuinely low and the rest checks out, a car air con regas puts the cold back the same visit. If the gauges point to a leak, UV dye leak detection traces it, because a dye sent round with the refrigerant glows at the fitting it is escaping from. Recharging a leaking system only loses costly gas twice over, so we would rather pin the fault down and tell you plainly what fixing it takes.

The Owner, the Licence and the Warranty at Naztech

Before you let anyone recover and refill refrigerant, it is worth knowing they are licensed to. Handling, recovering and buying refrigerant is regulated under Australian law, and Naztech holds ARC Licence No. AU066885 to do it properly: the old gas is captured rather than vented, and the system is handled the way the regulations require. That is exactly the step an unlicensed top-up skips. The work itself is done by the owner, Sharfraz Nazim, a trade-qualified auto electrician and air-conditioning technician with around a decade in the trade.

The backing is in writing, not just promised. Naztech carries $10 million in public and product liability cover, puts a 12-month or 20,000 km warranty on parts and labour, and backs every battery replacement for 24 months. The business has run from Pakenham, the next suburb east, since 2023, and the 44 five-star Google reviews behind the name are mostly word-of-mouth jobs. The business is young; the hands doing the work are not.

The Full Regas, Plus What Else the Van Carries

Once the diagnosis confirms the charge really is the issue, the regas follows a fixed order: we recover the old refrigerant, run a vacuum test to make sure the system holds, then degas and regas it and set the charge to the exact amount your car is rated for. The full recover, vacuum and weigh sequence is set out on our mobile regas service page.

Not every warm-air job ends at a regas, and the van is set up for the rest. If a component has actually failed, we carry out car aircon compressor replacement on site, and we can make and fit a new pressure hose when one splits rather than sending the car off for it. A pre-summer car air conditioning service is worth booking too, catching a weak system before the heat arrives instead of after a car aircon not working morning. Officer’s estates lean late-model, so most jobs here are modern factory systems, though the same work covers older cars, a caravan, or a tradie’s work van just as well.

Why an Officer Regas Has No Flat Price

What a regas costs depends on the car, and the teaser figures floating around are exactly why. A fixed teaser price assumes the system is sound and only short a little gas, which is a guess made before anyone has seen your car. It also cannot know which refrigerant you run: an older car on R134a and a newer one on R1234yf sit a long way apart on the cost of the gas alone.

With Naztech the number follows the diagnosis, not the other way around. You get a free quote by phone or online, the call-out fee is confirmed before the van leaves, and any part needed is quoted in writing before the work goes ahead. Because the leak check is built into the regas, you are not billed to refill gas that has already escaped. Payment is on completion for first-time customers, by card or tap-and-pay on the spot. It is the same straight answer on any car air conditioning repair.

Nearby Suburbs We Cover

The same mobile regas is just as easy to book in the suburbs either side of Officer along the Cardinia corridor:

Booked before the first hot week, an Officer regas has the cabin cold when summer lands, instead of joining the queue when every car needs it at once.

Common Questions

What Officer Drivers Ask Before Booking a Regas

What is an aircon specialist called?

The trade name is an automotive air-conditioning technician, and in Australia that person also has to hold an ARC licence for refrigerant work. Sharfraz holds ARC Licence No. AU066885, which is what lets the regas on your Officer job be done legally.

My aircon still blows air, just not cold air. Is that a regas?
Is Officer too small a job for a mobile call-out?
Can the regas be done the same day?
