When something on your vehicle stops working, the last thing you want is to lose it to a workshop for a day. NAZTECH is the fully Mobile Auto Electrical and Air Conditioning service that answers that, started in 2023 and run by one person: Sharfraz Nazim, a trade-qualified Auto Electrician with around ten years in the trade. The workshop comes to you. The fault gets diagnosed in front of you, and only what has actually failed gets fixed. The name on the van is the name that turns up, does the work, and explains it as it goes, with no tow truck, no courtesy-car juggling and no day surrendered to a waiting room.
Whether it’s a one-off job, emergency callout, or ongoing commercial support — get in touch to discuss how we can help.
That promise only holds if the person making it knows vehicles inside out. Sharfraz trained as an Auto Electrician at Kangan Institute, holds a Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology and a Certificate II in Automotive Air Conditioning, and is ARC licensed to handle refrigerant, the licence Australian law requires for any vehicle air-conditioning work.
Most of his career has been spent on heavy ground. He gave the bulk of his roughly ten years in the trade to heavy plant and earthmoving fleets, working with companies like Hitachi, Tutt Bryant, William Adams Cat and Sherrin Rentals, then moved into material handling with Jungheinrich and Manitou. That world is the deep end of auto electrical work: 24-volt systems, control and safety circuits, diesel and powertrain faults, and the intermittent gremlins that only surface on a worksite at the worst possible moment. The same hands do the lighter, fiddlier jobs too, from 4×4 dual-battery and touring setups to caravan wiring.
It is worth being straight about one thing. NAZTECH is a young business, started in 2023. The roughly ten years of experience behind it belongs to Sharfraz, earned well before the first NAZTECH job, and it is that experience, not the company’s age, that turns up to your vehicle.

Sharfraz started NAZTECH because he kept hearing the same line from drivers and operators: a good Auto Electrician is genuinely hard to find. He also watched people burn a day off, or a slice of their annual leave, just to get a vehicle looked at. A mobile service answered both problems at once. You stay at home or at work, the vehicle stays where it is, and the diagnosis happens in your own driveway rather than on a hoist you never get to see. The way some trades have one name everyone recognises, he wanted NAZTECH to become that name for Mobile Auto Electrical work.
How the job gets done matters to him as much as the result, so he runs the business on four values he sums up as E.A.C.H., one for every customer:
That last value is the one Sharfraz is least willing to bend on, and it shapes every quote he gives.
Trust in a one-person operation should be checkable, not just claimed, so here is what stands behind the work on paper. NAZTECH carries $10 million in public and product liability cover. Parts and labour are backed by a 12-month or 20,000 km warranty, whichever comes first, and every battery replacement carries a separate 24-month warranty. The ARC refrigerant licence, number AU066885, is the same one any business doing vehicle air-conditioning work is legally required to hold, and you are welcome to check it.
None of that promises nothing will ever go wrong. What it means is that if something does, there is real cover and a written warranty behind it, rather than a handshake and a hope.
The track record is short, but it points the right way. Since 2023, NAZTECH has repaired more than 400 vehicles and completed over 200 installations, with a first-time diagnostic success rate of around 90%. Across 44 five-star Google reviews the feedback runs the same way. Roughly seven in ten new jobs arrive through referral, and about eight in ten customers come back. For a business this age, that repeat-and-referral pattern is the part Sharfraz is proudest of, because it is the Connection value showing up in the books.
The diagnostic side is where his heavy-vehicle background earns its keep. One transport operator had fought a Mercedes Actros for more than six months: it would refuse to start at random, and a string of others had thrown parts and money at it without finding the cause. Sharfraz traced it to a single CAN communication wire between the ECU and the truck. The insulation looked perfect from the outside, but the copper inside had broken. That kind of fault never shows up on a quick scan, and finding it is the whole difference between a vehicle that is fixed and one that has merely been worked on.
NAZTECH works for two kinds of customer at the same time. There are everyday drivers with cars, 4WDs, caravans, motorhomes and boats who want a fault found without losing the vehicle for a day. And there are tradies, fleet managers and B2B operators across civil, construction, transport, mining and material handling, plus local councils, who need 24-volt and heavy-equipment work done on site so the gear is not left sitting idle. The Mobile Auto Electrical side covers diagnostics, batteries, alternators, wiring and accessory installs, while the air-conditioning side runs from a regas through to a failed compressor.
Based in Pakenham, NAZTECH is fully mobile right across South East Melbourne and Gippsland , from the Casey and Cardinia corridor out to the Latrobe Valley, the Mornington Peninsula and the Bass Coast. Booking is simple. Call 0449 992 695 or send an online enquiry with your vehicle and the fault, and you get a time to suit how urgent it is. Quotes are free, the call-out fee is confirmed before anyone commits, and if parts are needed you get a written quote first. First-time customers pay on completion, with card and tap-and-pay available on site, and commercial clients can run on purchase orders and accounts.
Customers say a genuinely good Auto Electrician is hard to find, and earning that reputation, one honestly diagnosed job at a time, is the whole reason NAZTECH exists.
